Walgreens and Publix...

I ran out on lunch today to the bank and decided to run into Walgreens for a few things, here is the breakdown:

1st transaction:
Right Guard Pro
on sale for $5.99
with $5 Register Rewards to use on next purchase
Total OOP: $6.29

2nd transaction:
2 3.8oz granulated Splenda
on sale for $2.99 each
3 Secret invisible solid Deodorant
on sale for $1.99 each (use coupon in the weekly ad)
used $5 RR from 1st transaction
used 2 $3 off printable on Splenda
Total OOP: $1.49

Total spending at Walgreens $7.78!!!
My best guess on savings for this is $17.60

on to Publix, since Anthony has been spending a lot of time at home, he has been doing the grocery shopping lately (this includes using all the coupons and buying the deals I tell him).
Today he spent $57.85 and saved $61.45, secretly I think he enjoys the game as much as I do!!!

Just wanted to let you all in on a couple of really good deals you can get at Walgreens this week through Saturday.
Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner and other hair care products are on sale for $2.99 each. There is a $2 off one product coupon in the Easy Saver Catalog found in the front of all Walgreens stores.
The limit is 4 but that means you can get 4 bottles of Garnier Fructis products for $3.96+tax.
Electrosol Dishwashing all in one tabs are on sale for $3.49 for a 20 pack, there is a coupon on this past Sunday's paper for $2.50 off making these $.99 a piece. If you really want to save, use the Easy Saver Catalog for an additional $1.50 off mail in rebate (this can be done online and sent to you on a Walgreens giftcard).

I bought 2 shampoos, 2 conditioners and 2 boxes of Electrosol today for $6.42 and will get $3 loaded onto my Walgreens gift card at the end of the month.


Wahoo, I am back on track to savings big bucks on groceries and household items!
